♿ Accessibility info:
Zone 3, closest to the coast, is generally level ground, although not always paved. Wheelchairs can navigate, except possibly the incline/decline of Halleck Street. You can use the pathway of the Tunnel Tops vistas, or the “Tennessee Hollow Trail” instead (East of Halleck St., across the marshland) to reach the same places.
In Zone 2, stops along the walk are accessible by a wheelchair IF you are coming from Zone 3, following the walk southbound from Crissy Field. The trail at the spring is dirt & gravel with a slight incline, and a boardwalk. However, to enter or leave Zone 2 on its south side, there is a significant incline on gravel trail that may be too steep for wheelchairs.
Zone 1 involves a significant hill (paved) that may be much too steep for wheelchairs. However, it is possible to drive to the start of Zone 1, and then the first two poems are on level ground. You can drive to Inspiration Point (with a parking lot) to experience the other three stops in this zone.
